Dial: Original gilt gloss dial is in perfect condition and is super glossy. The gilt hands appear to be later, but are tritium. The bezel and insert are original.

Case: The case is in excellent condition. Model and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs. The caseback is engraved 5508 III. 1958. The watch is equipped with the cal. 1530 movement.

Bracelet: European style riveted oyster bracelet with 64 endpieces with 12 links with very minimal stretch.

Comments: This early "no crown guard" submariner reference 5508 is in excellent condition and a must have for any submariner collector.
