Original and very rare small register underline dial. This dial was produced and used during the transitional period of 1962-1963, when Rolex most probably choose to designate the use of tritium on their dials, with an underline. This dial is rare in steel, but extremely rare in gold. The dial has some minor wear throughout. The hands are original.

Original case is in very good condition with strong lugs and sharp bezel. The 14K stamping is visible between the lugs, however the use of a bracelet wore away the serial and model numbers over time.

Gold underline chronographs are extremely rare and beautiful. Similar examples have sold at auction for very strong. This is a great example, priced correctly.
